Bicycle wine rack

No this is not your normal bottle cage and certainly won't keep you hydrated on a long ride but it would be perfect for a nice picnic or cycling round to a friends for dinner.

Available from oopsmark etsy store.

Creme Cycles

All via cremecycles.com

The guys that make the aforementioned Vinyl Uno have done it again with a range of city bikes. They have some really nice frames and set ups focusing on traditional style city bicycles. I love the range and really feel that bikes like these will be the ones that encourage more mainstream cycling and specifically commuting in the UK.

They say: 'We wanted our bikes to be simple and accessible, but at the same time they had to be a form of art, a tribute to the love for materials, details and craftsmanship'

I love this ethos, it's these bikes that will turn commuters into commuters that ride bikes rather create more cyclists. And as we know, we don't need more cyclists, we need more people who ride bikes.

Boneshaker Issue 5

Looking forward to the new edition of Boneshaker arriving, looks like some great articles with fantastic photography/illustration. And a piece on the great Paul Smith. What's not to love?

Available from Fingerprint distribution and a selection of fine retailers.

Bobbins x Globe

It seems they still do make them like this nowadays. Bobbins Bicycles, purveyors of all manner of stylish bikes and the stylish accessories to go with them, and California bicycle manufacturers, Globe have launched a store together. The shots from their launch email look pretty cool, shame it's down in that London.

Launch film with mandatory folk soundtrack is worth a watch too.

First run of Rapha and Raleigh

I recently became the proud owner of a Rapha + Paul Smith jersey after being tempted by their two day sale. I also managed to finish my Raleigh ten speed, thanks to a little help from Bike Man Dan, so I combined the two and went for a ride in the evening sunshine tonight. Both were fantastic.

Such a great way to forget about the worries of the world and feel like you're flying.
Roll on summer.

2011 Brothers Frame

via Brothers Blog

From the fact that the most popular search term to get to this site is about the Creme Vinyl Uno I'm guessing quite a few of you guys are fans of fixed wheel bikes. If you are, I think you'd be hard pushed to find a nicer looking frame than the new track inspired fixie from Brothers.

My new/old bike build part 2

After another day tinkering in the garden and the old Raleigh is almost ready to fly again.

Looking forward to some nice sunny evening rides in the countryside.
